Course Description

Voice Acting IS Acting! In this six week course, students will delve into the intricate world of theatrical voiceover, focusing on the art of dubbing for both anime and live-action productions in English. By merging fundamental theatre practices with specialized voiceover techniques, students will acquire the necessary skills to excel in the competitive landscape of professional voice acting. Through practical exercises, scene work, and critical analysis, participants will develop a nuanced understanding of character portrayal, vocal dynamics, and the synchronization of voice with visual media. This course is designed for aspiring voice actors seeking to establish themselves in the vibrant realms of anime and live-action dubbing.

Instructor Bio: 

Brandon English is an Actor, Writer, Director, and in-house Casting Producer for Roundabout Entertainment. He has cast and directed animes and live-action English dubbing projects for Disney+, Hulu, Amazon Studios, such as: Moving, Summer Time Rendering, Small & Mighty, Sayen, Nightingale of Bursa, Time Switch, The Stolen Cup, Our Only Chance, and many more! Refunds and Cancellations: 

We understand that not all classes work out and that emergencies happen. If a cancellation were to occur either before or after the first class, we will issue a full refund, minus credit card processing fees (3% of the cost). If a cancellation occurs after the second class, 10% of the course cost will be deducted from the total, in addition to the 3% credit card processing fee. 

If an emergency occurs that makes it so that the student is unable to finish the course, EWP and the student will discuss best steps for moving forward
